Cura Risk Management Software (Pty) Ltd. (“Cura”) Privacy Statement ("Statement")

Privacy on the Cura website (the "website") is of great importance to us. Cura gathers important information from our visitors and customers so it has established this Statement as a means to communicate its information gathering and dissemination practices. Cura reserves the right to change this Statement and will provide notification of the change on its website from time to time.

Visitors who register on the website provide Cura certain contact information, such as their name, company name, address, phone number and e-mail address. At the time a visitor expresses interest in attaining additional information, or when a visitor registers for one of Cura’s services, Cura may also ask for additional personal information, such as title, department name, fax number or additional company information. Visitors can opt out of providing this additional information by not entering it when asked and in its place entering alternative information or contacting Cura via e-mail to circumvent the process.

Cura uses the information to contact visitors to further discuss interest in its company, the services that it provides, and to send information regarding its company or partners, such as promotions and events. Visitors are invited to receive an email newsletter by providing an email address. Visitor email addresses and any personal information will not be distributed or shared with any third parties. Visitors can opt out of being contacted by Cura, or receiving such information from Cura, at any time by sending an email to webcontact@curarisk.com or clicking ‘Unsubscribe’ on a received correspondence and confirming their wish to unsubscribe on the subsequent page. Customers and visitors are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their own usernames and passwords.

Except as Cura explicitly states at the time information is requested, or as provided for in the Cura End-User License Agreement, Cura does not disclose to any third-party the information provided.

Customers of Cura may use Cura services to host data and information ("Data"). Cura provides an End-User License Agreement as well as a Service Level Agreement to each of its customers. Cura will not review, share, distribute, print, or reference any such Data except as provided in the Agreements mentioned herein, or as may be required by law. Individual records may at times be viewed or accessed only for the purpose of resolving a problem, support issue, or suspected breach of the End-user License Agreement, or as may be required by law.

As a visitor to the Cura web site, Cura’s Web server sends a session cookie to the visiting computer. Cookies are files that Web browsers place on a computer's hard drive and contain a session key to validate the user during the processing of information. Users who disable cookies will be able to browse Cura’s website but will not be able to use certain services.

This website does contain links to other websites. Cura is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other websites. Customers and visitors will need to check the policy statement of these others websites to understand their policies. Customers and visitors who access a linked site may be disclosing their private information. It is the responsibility of the user to keep such information private and confidential.
